Ten Days of Vintage (TDOV)

In fashion, shopping on December 16, 2017 at 6:09 pm

On our way to the Xmas market in the Working Men’s Club we walked past the window of the soft-opened from today Ten Days Of Vintage on Hoe Street. The harlequin bright outfits in the window are hugely eye catching as is the rusted metal ‘TDOV’ shop signage.

Chatting to the owner’s husband he told of his fear of heights which didn’t help when he was up a ladder attaching this sign on busy Hoe Street!

“I bet they won’t do mens clothes.” I grumbled.

So let me say from the start: they do mens clothes. Just a couple of rails of shirts amongs the ladies wear, but what shirts they are. Striking patterns, bold prints. And I have to say affordable prices. I’m strapped for Xmas at the moment but I will be back for some. I was particularly taken with a fine orange shit with creepy goth doll face print.

Not clothes for wallflowers

The ladies have a much wider selection. There are also retro bags and rucksacks fo sale.

With this location, this wild stock mix and at the prices we saw TDOV has a potent mix for success. I plan to be back post Xmas to grab some iconic shirts for myself.
